"The African American Nonprofit Network ("AANN") is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the acute shortage of African American talent in nonprofit leadership positions in the National Capital Region by: 1) assisting nonprofit organizations in the National Capital Region in identifying African Americans for President, CEO, Executive Director, COO, CFO and senior management positions in their organizations; 2) identifying talented African Americans in the for-profit sector who might be interested in nonprofits organizations and helping them make the transition to the nonprofit sector; and 3) identifying nonprofit board members, advisors, and mentors for board, executive and senior managerial talent."
