Friendship Public Charter School

Friendship Public Charter School

Friendship Public Charter School

"Since its inception in 1997, Friendship Public Charter School has enabled thousands of low-income students to become real achievers. Friendship applies its unique educational model with winning results — Friendship consistently improves academic performance, educates the "whole child," offers families wraparound social services, and directs students to college and a solid, rewarding future."

Friendship Public Charter School is the DC area’s largest public charter school, serving more than 4,000 students from pre-school to 12th grade on five campuses. CEDC has enjoyed a long partnership with Friendship and has produced many of their newsletters, handbooks, and banners.

Friendship school students meet President Obama

On March 24th, President Obama placed a phone call to the astronauts on the International Space Station and Friendship School students were there! Friendship Public Charter School has been a long-time parter with CEDC and we were excited to read that some middle school students from Friendship were invited to be present during the phone call.

Friendship News and Notes

Friendship News and Notes

Friendship News and Notes is a periodic newsletter for parents of children that attend schools in the Friendship umbrella. We developed a look that was professional but also a little playful, using Friendship's trademark bright red, rounded corners, and a modified font style for headers.
