SFK came to us for help designing and building out a site in Drupal. They had done a lot of preliminary work including site structure and wireframes, which was great. We worked through a number of revisions to find a look and feel that matched their vision for atmosphere and color -- clean and professional without being antiseptic.
We redid the two column homepage design from their wireframes to make it more obvious what the eye should be drawn to and to provide a rotating "featured" image linked to the relevant page. We added three columns underneath the rotator for less prominent content that doesn't change as often.
We developed custom content types for their information and incorporated views, Lightbox and jQuery tabs into the theme to organize their information based on the location it is associated with and we worked with the SFK webmaster to tweak it to her preference and train her in administering the site.
